Training

My goal in every training is to help participants understand what trauma is, what trauma does and how we can help each other heal. Additionally, because I have a PhD in Neuroscience—I seek to help people understand the link between the brain and the rest of all that we are (body, behaviors, thoughts, beliefs). Understanding to some small degree how the brain responds to trauma makes clear many of the most difficult, complicated symptoms and aspects of trauma.

Understanding builds compassion and also directs us towards techniques that can help reduce the powerful impact of trauma.
